Documents lost when upgrading from 0.11 to 0.13

John Chang
We upgraded from Elastic Search 0.11 and 0.13.  We monitor the number of docs and found that 10% disappeared right when we did our upgrade.  All our mappings are in place, BTW.

We are currently working on a reindex correction script, but in the meantime...is this a known issue?  Any recovery suggestions? Would 0.13.1 help?

Thanks.

Its not an issue that I am aware of. It might be that the index got corrupted and when the cluster restarted, you lost the docs. That bug was fixed in 0.13. Note the upgrade notes on the routing changes and the flag to have a backward compatible behavior.
